The history of the Protan Elmark brand is the history of two companies:

• Protan AS – Norway . A company was founded in Drammen in 1939 that developed and started producing the first life jackets made of rubber-coated material. Currently, a producer of globally recognized niche products from PVC materials, including roofing membranes;
• Elmark Hale – Poland. In 1989, in Stęszew near Poznań, a company was established to manufacture and assemble tent objects – at that time still little known in Poland.

In 2008, Protan AS merged with Elmark Hale to form the basis of the company’s current shape.

Today, our greatest strengths include both many years of experience and the use of the latest technologies in the production of tent objects. Our projects can already be found on four continents, but for us it is a beginning. Our aspirations reach further.
